Still at the Mall of Asia, this time at the Toy Kingdom Main Mall branch, Gboy hooked up with none other than the Dark Lord of the Sith. It's not exactly one of the best statues that I've seen (they could've done a better job with the faceplate detail), but then again, who could resist a little photo op with Lord Vader?

That's my Droid!

My son Gboy and I were wandering about the Toy Kingdom Kids Universe branch at the SM Mall of Asia last March 5 when I spotted a familiar dome headed astromech perched atop one of the toy shelves. Of course, the geek in me just could not resist taking snapshots of the most loved droid in the universe.

"What?! Go on adventures? Explore the galaxy? You must be short-circuiting again! We are droids, after all… Nothing exciting ever happens to us!"
