I might not have made it to Panaad Stadium in Bacolod but football fever will still be high as the big bosses at our office in Makati declared this day a "Support the Azkals Day". While those watching the game live in Panaad will be wearing white, we will be wearing all blue. As an incentive, best dressed employees will win autographed jerseys of the Philippine Homeless World Cup Team.
The Philippines is ahead of Mongolia in the latest FIFA rankings, 152 vs 182, and anything less than a win is expected from the Azkals, who will be playing in front of at least 10,000 rabid (pun intended) home fans. With the exception of Chris Greatwich who could not join the team because of work related reasons, the Philippines will be fielding almost the same lineup which fared magnificently in the Suzuki Cup.
The game will be telecast live on Studio 23 at 7:00 pm
So all ye Azkals fans, let's all give one big howl and wish our RP football team the best! Awooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
